In short

Google Analytics runs only if you choose "Accept analytics" in the cookie banner; until then no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookie is set. The engineering tools work fully without an account, and nothing typed into a calculator is sent anywhere unless the user chooses to save it. If an account is created, we store only what "save" and "My projects" need. We do not sell data.

What we collect

Website analytics (only with consent)

With your consent, Google Analytics 4 records pages viewed, the referring site, approximate location, device and browser type, and sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to recognise a returning browser. We use it only to understand which pages are read. You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page; declining removes these cookies.

Contact form

The details you enter (name, role, work email, company, project details and message). The form is processed by Formspree and delivered to us by email. We use it only to reply.

Tool account (optional)

Email address and, with Google sign-in, name and profile photo as provided by Google. Optional profile fields you fill in.

Saved projects

The inputs and results of calculations you explicitly save.

Usage telemetry (opt-in)

For signed-in users who opt in: which tool was run and a summary of inputs and outputs, tied to the account.

Where it is stored

Tool account and project data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore in the European Union multi-region location (eur3). Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication. Database security rules allow each user to read and write only their own records. Analytics data, when consented, is processed by Google. Contact-form messages are held in our email system.

Assessment data

Data shared for an assessment is covered by the NDA for that engagement and used only for it. Raw data is deleted within 30 days of the final report. See the Trust Center.

Your rights

Under KVKK (Law No. 6698) and the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction of, export of and deletion of your personal data, and you can withdraw consent. Account holders can download or delete their data from the Account page at any time. Anonymised usage-telemetry records (no name, email or profile data) are kept as a write-once reliability log after account deletion.
